In charming Beauvoorde, in the heart of the Westhoek, lies Frambiosa y Besos, a farm that not only grows soft fruit but also tells a story. This story is about passion, sustainability, and the art of growing fruit as nature intended.
the start of a dream
Wim Vandenberghe, the driving force behind Frambiosa y Besos, began his adventure in 2010 with a clear vision: if it couldn't be done organically, he wouldn't do it. Inspired by his time as a student working on an organic farm, Wim decided that his own plantation had to be completely free of chemical treatments and artificial fertilizers. This meant a slower growth process for the fruit, but with a reward that can be tasted in every bite: more intense aromas and richer flavors.
a unique approach
What sets Frambiosa y Besos apart is its commitment to short supply chains and ripe fruit. The fruit is only harvested when it is at its best, ensuring a full flavor and minimal environmental impact. This approach reflects respect not only for nature but also for the consumer, who knows exactly where their food comes from.
more than just fresh fruit
In addition to fresh soft fruit such as raspberries, blackberries, gooseberries, and blackcurrants, Frambiosa y Besos offers a wide range of artisanal products. Think of jams, syrups, and juices, all made from their own harvest or from fruit from like-minded fellow growers. These products can be found in the farm shop, along with other organic delicacies from local producers, such as vegetables from organic farm Stoppel.

a sustainable future
Frambiosa y Besos is more than a farm; it is an example of how agriculture and sustainability can go hand in hand. By collaborating with other small-scale producers and investing in organic farming methods, Wim contributes to a resilient local food system. His work inspires others to make more conscious choices for local, ethical products.
