Across 120 hectares in Tournai, Domaine de Graux combines arable crops, an organic market garden, high-stem orchards, and livestock farming. All practised according to agroecological principles that work with nature rather than against it. Domaine de Graux is built on a conviction as old as the land itself: that the way we treat the earth is the way we treat each other. Rooted in over five centuries of stewardship, the estate holds three interlocking values at its core: respect, sharing, and optimism.
Organic Pasture Raised Black Angus, Jams from our conservational orchard, Walnut Flour and Walnut Oil
By creating healthier living soils, Domaine de Graux reshapes what ends up on the plate. Certified organic since 2011, B Corp since 2025 and guided by the principles of regenerative agriculture. Where conventional supply chains commodify ingredients, Domaine de Graux treats them as living things with provenance, seasonality, and story. Our ambition is to involve the entire food chain in order to change practices — from soil to chef to table — making the estate a quiet but powerful force in redefining what regional, responsible gastronomy can look and taste like.
On the certification front, the domain holds the Certysis organic label, is a certified B Corp, and obtained the Vergers Vivants label (a recognition that our orchard is untreated and actively restores biodiversity through hedgerows and habitat preservation). We are also part of the Belgian conservatory orchard network, collaborating with committed actors such as Reinette & Co, Diversifruit, Pom d'Happy, and Le Bois d'Ogy. For processing and transformation, the domain works with partners chosen not just for proximity but for values alignment, including Wapicowp, a local cooperative meat workshop, and the slaughterhouse in Ath, selected for its animal welfare standards. Through Herdbook and other collaborators, the network continues to grow. Each partnership is a deliberate choice: a vote for short supply chains, local craftsmanship, and an ecosystem where impact multiplies.
